Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing cool weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong. Locally, temperatures fell to about 17 degrees in the urban areas, and around two degrees lower over the New Territories this morning.

Weather forecast for today

Cloudy with one or two rain patches. Cool in the morning and at night. Temperatures will linger around 18 degrees during the day. Fresh north to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : Becoming brighter gradually and relatively warm during the day over the Christmas holidays. Temperatures falling significantly in the latter part of this week.
