Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon brought cool weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong today. Locally, it was cool. There were one or two rain patches in the morning and at night. Daytime temperatures were around three to four degrees lower than those of yesterday. The monsoon is expected to moderate slightly over the Christmas holidays. An intense winter monsoon will reach the south China coast in the latter part of this week, the weather will become cold and windy with rain over the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Tuesday, 25 Dec 2018)

Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches at first. The minimum temperature in the morning will be about 17 degrees. Bright periods in the afternoon with a maximum temperatures of around 21 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh offshore at first.

Outlook : Warm with sunny periods during the day in the following couple of days. Temperatures falling significantly and it will be windy with rain in the latter part of this week.
