Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The band of clouds covering the south China coastal areas is thinning out gradually.

At 5 a.m., the tropical depression to the east of the Philippines was centred about 1460 kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the central part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine. Warm during the day with a maximum temperature of about 24 degrees. Light to moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine tomorrow. Temperatures falling significantly and it will be windy in the latter part of this week. The weather will be cold with a few rain patches early next week.
