Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The weather is generally fine over the south China coastal areas.

At 4 p.m., the tropical depression to the east of the Philippines was centred about 1250 kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the central part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. Some haze at first. Cool in the morning and at night tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be about 17 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees. Light winds, becoming moderate northeasterlies tomorrow, fresh offshore.

Outlook : Temperatures falling significantly and it will be windy in the following couple of days. The weather will be cold with a few rain patches early to midweek next week.
