Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon is affecting southern China.

At 5 a.m., the tropical depression to the east of the Philippines was centred about 1060 kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 16 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the central part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for today

Sunny periods. Visibility relatively low in some areas at first. The maximum temperature will be around 23 degrees. Slightly cool at night. Moderate northeasterly winds, fresh offshore.

Outlook : Temperatures falling significantly and it will be windy in the next couple of days. The weather will be cold with a few rain patches early to midweek next week.
