Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An intense winter monsoon persists over Guangdong. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the southern part of the South China Sea.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Cloudy periods overnight. It will be cold. The minimum temperature will be about 11 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Sunny intervals tomorrow with a maximum temperature of around 16 degrees. One or two rain patches at night. Moderate to fresh northerly winds.

Outlook : Remaining cold in the following couple of days with a few rain patches. Temperatures rising gradually towards the weekend.
