Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A weak replenishment of the northeast monsoon affected the south China coast yesterday. Meanwhile, a band of clouds covered the region. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with one or two light rain patches. Visibility was rather low at first. The monsoon will continue to affect the south China coast today and tomorrow.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Monday, 7 Jan 2019)

Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches at first. Sunny intervals during the day. Temperatures will range between 17 and 21 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore at first.

Outlook : Sunny periods on Tuesday. A few rain patches in the following couple of days. The weather will improve gradually towards the weekend.
