A cold front over the northern part of Guangdong is moving southwards gradually. The associated northeast monsoon will reach the coastal areas tonight.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Becoming cloudy. Cool tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature will be about 16 degrees. Bright periods during the day with a maximum temperature of about 21 degrees. Light to moderate northerly winds, becoming fresh easterlies later tomorrow and there will be one or two light rain patches.

Outlook : Cooler on Saturday. Humid and foggy with sunny periods early next week. Warm during the Lunar New Year holidays.

Warnings:
Gale force winds in Nan'ao. Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao.

Weather Situation:
A cold front over the northern part of Guangdong is moving southwards gradually. The associated northeast monsoon will reach the south China coastal waters overnight.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
North to northeast force 4 to 5, becoming east force 5 to 6 later.
A few light rain patches later.
Moderate seas, becoming rough later.

Nan'ao:
Northeast force 6 to 7, becoming east force 6 to 7 later, occasionally force 8.
Rough seas, becoming very rough later.

Shanwei, South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
Northeast force 5 to 6, becoming east force 6 to 7 later.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for the next 48 hours
