Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon affected southern China yesterday. Meanwhile, a cloud band covered the coast of southeastern China and the northeastern part of the South China Sea. Locally, it was mainly cloudy yesterday with bright periods in the afternoon. The northeast monsoon now affecting the south China coast is expected to moderate in the next couple of days. The weather will become warm, humid and foggy gradually over the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy. One or two rain patches in the morning and at night. Temperatures will range between 17 and 21 degrees. Moderate easterly winds, fresh at first.

Outlook : Warm with coastal fog patches and occasional sunshine in the following few days. However, it will be windier on the Lunar New Year's Eve and Lunar New Year's Day.
