Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon that affected the coast of Guangdong moderated gradually today. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with sunny intervals. The monsoon is expected to moderate further in the next couple of days. The weather will be relatively warm and humid over the coast of Guangdong. A fresh easterly airstream will reach the coast of Guangdong on Lunar New Year's Eve.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Sunday, 3 Feb 2019)

Mainly cloudy. Mist patches in the morning and at night. The minimum temperature will be about 19 degrees. Warm with sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 24 degrees. Moderate easterly winds, fresh on high ground at first. Winds will weaken gradually.

Outlook : Warm with occasional sunshine and coastal fog patches in the following few days. However, it will be windier on Lunar New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
