Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Winds are weak over the coast of Guangdong. Locally, there was coastal fog this morning. Visibility over Waglan Island once fell below 1000 metres. Besides, pressure over southeastern China is rising. A fresh easterly airstream is expected to reach the coast of Guangdong later today.

Weather forecast for today

Coastal fog in the morning and sunny periods during the day. It will be warm with a maximum temperature of about 25 degrees. Light winds, becoming moderate to fresh easterly winds later and there will be one or two light rain patches.

Outlook : Warm with occasional sunshine and coastal fog patches in the next few days. However, it will be windier at first on Lunar New Year's Day.
