Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A warm and humid maritime airstream affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday. Locally, it was misty yesterday morning. The visibility at Waglan Island once fell below 3000 metres. It was mainly fine during the day. The maximum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 25.8 degrees, the warmest so far on the third day of Lunar New Year. Besides, pressure over southeastern China began to rise in the afternoon. The maritime airstream affecting the coast of Guangdong is expected to be replaced by a fresh easterly airstream today.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Friday, 8 Feb 2019)

Mainly fine and misty in the morning. Becoming cloudy during the day. Temperatures will range between 20 and 24 degrees. Moderate southeasterly winds, becoming moderate to fresh easterlies later with one or two rain patches.

Outlook : Windier and slightly cooler over the weekend and early next week.
