Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong northeast monsoon affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday and there were showers over Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, it was mainly cloudy with a few showers. About 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Sai Kung around noon. Under the influence of the northeast monsoon, it will be windy and slightly cooler with a few showers over the south China coast today.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Visibility relatively low. It will be slightly cooler with temperatures ranging between 18 and 21 degrees. Fresh east to northeasterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground.

Outlook : Temperatures rising gradually midweek this week.
