At noon at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 25 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 87 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.3. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Though rainstorm warning has been cancelled, people should stay alert to the danger that may be brought about by river flooding.

The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 1:00 p.m. today. A few thunderstorms are expected to occur over Hong Kong.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An unstable southerly airstream is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, heavy showers this morning brought more than 20 millimetres of rainfall to many places, and rainfall even exceeded 40 millimetres over the western part of the New Territories.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Occasional showers in the next couple of days.
