Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southwesterly airstream is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong. Locally, around 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over many places in the afternoon, and rainfall even exceeded 50 millimetres over Sha Tin.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier at times over some areas at first. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Showers and squally thunderstorms in the following couple of days. Showers will be heavy at times.
