Tropical Cyclone Warning

At 060600 UTC, Super Typhoon Lingling (1913) with central pressure 930 hectopascals was centred within 30 nautical miles of two nine point six degrees north (29.6 N) one two five point two degrees east (125.2 E) and is forecast to move north at about 20 knots for the next 24 hours.

Maximum winds near the centre are estimated to be 100 knots.

Radius of over 33 knot winds 180 nautical miles.
Radius of over 47 knot winds 90 nautical miles.
Radius of over 63 knot winds 60 nautical miles.
Radius of over 2 metre waves 240 nautical miles.

No further warnings on this Super Typhoon will be issued by the Hong Kong Observatory unless it re-enters the Hong Kong area of responsibility.

Forecast position and intensity at 070600 UTC
Three seven point six degrees north (37.6 N)
One two four point five degrees east (124.5 E)
Maximum winds 80 knots.

Forecast position and intensity at 080600 UTC
Become extratropical low.

The Hong Kong Observatory's tropical cyclone warnings for shipping are issued about one and a half hours after the time of observation. They incorporate additional information derived from surface and upper-air data and may therefore be slightly different from the real-time satellite or radar-based positions given in the hourly bulletins for public.

While the forecast positions and track indicate the most likely future path of the tropical cyclone, they may deviate from the actual path taken by the storm.
