Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A continental airstream brought generally fine weather to Guangdong yesterday. Locally, it was mainly fine and very hot. Temperatures over the territory rose to 33 degrees or above. Thundery showers triggered by high temperatures brought more than 5 millimetres of rainfall to parts of the territory in the afternoon. Winds are expected to be weak over the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. The weather will be generally fine and hot over the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Sunday, 8 Sep 2019)

Mainly cloudy with isolated showers. Sunny periods and some haze during the day. Temperatures will range between 27 and 33 degrees. One or two thunderstorms in the afternoon. Light winds.

Outlook : Hot with sunny periods and one or two showers in the following couple of days.
