Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Besides, an area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the seas east of the Luzon Strait.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier over parts of the territory at first. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : Becoming fine in the next few days. Very hot in the latter part of this week. Dry over the weekend.
