During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 6. The intensity of UV radiation was high.

Hot weather might cause adverse health effects. The Observatory advises the public to stay on the alert.

The anticyclone aloft covering the southeastern part of China is bringing generally fine weather to the region. Besides, the area of low pressure to the east of Luzon Strait is strengthening, a tropical cyclone appears to be forming.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly fine. Hot in the afternoon. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : There will still be isolated showers at first tomorrow. Becoming fine and dry in the following few days.
