Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Under the influence of a continental airstream, it was sunny and dry over Hong Kong in the afternoon. The relative humidity over most parts of the territory fell to around 50 per cent.

At 4 p.m. Tropical Depression Tapah was centred about 420 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to be slow-moving and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Fine and dry. The minimum temperatures will be about 26 degrees. Very hot during the day tomorrow with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Fine and dry in the following couple of days.

    Weather Situation:
    At 5 p.m., Tropical Depression Tapah with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 22.6 degrees north, 128.7 degrees east. It is forecast to be slow-moving and intensify gradually.
