A continental airstream is bringing generally fine weather to southern China.

At 8 a.m., Tropical Storm Tapah was centred about 370 kilometres south of Okinawa. It is forecast to be slow-moving and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for today

Fine and dry. Very hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Fine and dry in the next couple of days.

    At 9 a.m., Tropical Storm Tapah with maximum sustained winds of about 75 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 23.0 degrees north, 127.0 degrees east. It is forecast to move northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour and intensify gradually.
