Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing fine and dry weather to southern China. Locally, relative humidity over parts of the territory fell below 40 per cent around noon.

At noon, Typhoon Tapah was centred about 220 kilometres west-northwest of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula to Kyushu of Japan.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

It will be fine. Very dry in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the next few days. Dry with relatively large temperature difference between day and night on Sunday and Monday.

    Warnings:
    Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, Nan'ao, Shanwei and south of Hong Kong.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At noon, Typhoon Tapah with maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 26.6 degrees north, 125.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula to Kyushu of Japan.
