Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing fine and dry weather to southern China.

At 8 p.m., Typhoon Tapah was centred about 800 kilometres south-southwest of Busan. It is forecast to move north at about 25 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula to Kyushu of Japan.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

It will be fine. The minimum temperature will be about 25 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. Very dry during the day tomorrow. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the following few days. Still dry with relatively large temperature difference between day and night on Monday.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 7 p.m., Typhoon Tapah with maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 28.3 degrees north, 125.7 degrees east. It is forecast to move north at about 25 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula to Kyushu of Japan.
