Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon continued to affect southern China yesterday. Locally, the weather was fine. It was very dry during the day. The relative humidity over the territory once fell to 40 per cent or below. The northeast monsoon is expected to bring mainly fine weather to southern China in the next few days.

Besides, Typhoon Tapah weakened into a severe tropical storm yesterday. At 11 p.m. last night, Tapah was centred about 160 kilometres east-southeast of Busan. It is forecast to move northeast at about 45 kilometres per hour across the Sea of Japan and gradually evolve into an extratropical cyclone.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Monday, 23 Sep 2019)

Mainly fine and dry. Light rain at night. Temperatures will range between 25 and 31 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the following few days, apart from one or two rain patches on Tuesday morning.
