Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China.

The tropical depression over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines has intensified into a tropical storm and was named Mitag. At 10 a.m., Mitag was centred about 1250 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to move northwest or west-northwest at about 28 kilometres per hour in the general direction of the seas east of Taiwan.

Mainly fine. Dry during the day. Moderate east to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the next few days.
