During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Hot weather might cause adverse health effects. The Observatory advises the public to stay on the alert.

An anticyclone aloft covering southern China is bringing fine weather to the region.

Weather forecast for today

Fine and hot. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine and hot tomorrow. There will be showers on Sunday and Chung Yeung Festival, and it will be windier and slightly cooler.
