Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft brought generally fine weather to southern China yesterday. Pressure rose over the coast of southeastern China yesterday. Locally, it was mainly fine. The weather was hot and dry during the day. There were isolated showers over the New Territories in the afternoon. A strong easterly airstream is expected to affect the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. It will be windier and slightly cooler over the region. Meanwhile, under the influence of an upper-air disturbance, it will be cloudy with showers over the coastal areas.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Sunday, 6 Oct 2019)

Mainly cloudy with a few showers and isolated squally thunderstorms. More showers later. Temperatures will range between 25 and 29 degrees. Light to moderate easterly winds, strengthening later.

Outlook : Still some showers, windier and slightly cooler on Chung Yeung Festival. Showers will ease off in the following couple of days.
