During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.1. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Gusts reaching 70 kilometres per hour or above may affect Hong Kong.

Strong winds are expected from the east. The public should beware of the possible danger brought by rough seas.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, an upper-air disturbance is bringing thundery showers to the region. Locally, thundery showers in the afternoon generally brought around 10 millimetres of rainfall to the territory, and rainfall even exceeded 20 millimetres over Sai Kung and Kowloon East.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with showers. A few squally thunderstorms at first. Showers will ease off gradually tomorrow. Temperatures will range between 24 and 29 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground at first.

Outlook : Sunny periods in the following couple of days.
