Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is bringing mainly fine weather to southeastern China.

At 4 p.m., Super Typhoon Hagibis was centred about 1640 kilometres south of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific towards Japan.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees tomorrow. Moderate easterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore at first.

Outlook : Mainly fine and hot apart from isolated showers in the following couple of days. More showers and becoming cooler on Sunday.
