An anticyclone aloft is bringing mainly fine weather to southeastern China.

At noon, Super Typhoon Hagibis was centred about 1270 kilometres south of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north or north-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific towards Japan.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly fine. Isolated showers in the afternoon. Moderate easterly winds.

Outlook : Hot with isolated showers in the next couple of days. More showers and becoming cooler on Sunday.
