Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is bringing mainly fine weather to southeastern China.

At 4 p.m., Super Typhoon Hagibis was centred about 1210 kilometres south of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific towards Japan.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine apart from isolated showers. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees. Light winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods and a few showers on Saturday. More showers and slightly cooler early next week.
