Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is bringing mainly fine weather to southeastern China.

At 2 a.m., Severe Typhoon Hagibis was centred about 600 kilometres south-southwest of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north or north-northeast at about 20 kilometres per hour towards Honshu of Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine at first. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms later. Temperatures will range between 26 and 30 degrees. Light winds.

Outlook : More showers, windier and slightly cooler early next week. Fine and dry midweek next week.
