Winds are weak over the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, thundery showers are affecting the region.

At noon, Severe Typhoon Hagibis was centred about 340 kilometres southwest of Tokyo. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 35 kilometres per hour towards Honshu of Japan.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Light winds.

Outlook : More showers and slightly cooler in the next couple of days. Fine, dry and windy midweek next week.
