Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A cold front is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. The northeast monsoon associated with the cold front is bringing slightly cooler weather to Guangdong.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times at first. Slightly cooler in the morning and at night. The maximum temperature will be about 29 degrees. Moderate northeasterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : There will still be showers tomorrow. Winds will strengthen from the east and it will be slightly cooler. Fine and dry midweek this week.
