Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong northeast monsoon affected the south China coast yesterday. Locally, it was mainly fine and dry during the day. There were isolated showers in the morning and at night. About 5 millimetres of rainfall were recorded in the urban areas and New Territories East. As the dry northeast monsoon is expected to persist, the weather will be generally fine over southern China for the rest of this week and early next week. Temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 16 Oct 2019)

Cloudy periods and isolated showers at first. Mainly fine and dry during the day. Temperatures will range between 23 and 29 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, strong offshore at first.

Outlook : Remaining fine and dry with relatively large temperature difference between day and night for the rest of this week.
