Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China. Locally, the relative humidity over the territory once fell below 60 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Neoguri was centred about 1110 kilometres northeast of Manila. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the western North Pacific to the east of Luzon Strait.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. One or two rain patches tomorrow morning and night. The minimum temperature will be about 24 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 29 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh offshore later.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the following couple of days.

    Warnings:
    Strong winds in Nan'ao, Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Neoguri with maximum sustained winds of about 65 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 20.2 degrees north, 129.6 degrees east. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the western North Pacific to the east of Luzon Strait.

    East to northeast force 4 to 5.
    A few rain patches.
    Moderate seas.

    Nan'ao:
    Northeast force 5 to 6, occasionally force 7.
