Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China. Locally, the relative humidity over the territory fell to around 60 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Typhoon Neoguri was centred about 230 kilometres southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 20 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Fine. The minimum temperature will be about 24 degrees in the urban areas tomorrow morning, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 29 degrees. Moderate easterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods in the following few days. One or two showers in the middle and latter parts of this week.

    Strong winds in Nan'ao, Shanwei and south of Hong Kong.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 4 p.m., Typhoon Neoguri with maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 24.7 degrees north, 129.3 degrees east. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 20 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.
