Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing slightly cooler weather to southern China.

At 8 a.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi was centred about 650 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 15 kilometres per hour towards Luzon.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine and dry. The maximum temperature will be about 25 degrees. Moderate to fresh northerly winds.

Outlook : Fine and dry in the next couple of days. It will be cooler in the morning and at night.

    Weather information for south China coastal waters issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 9:30 a.m. on 14 November 2019

    Warnings:
    Gale force winds in Nan'ao. Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 9 a.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 14.2 degrees north, 127.0 degrees east. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 15 kilometres per hour towards Luzon.

    Moderate to rough seas.

    Nan'ao:
