Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi was centred about 620 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards Luzon.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 21 degrees in the urban areas tomorrow morning, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 26 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : Fine and dry in the following couple of days. Winds strengthening from the north next Monday night. Cool on Tuesday morning.

Weather information for south China coastal waters issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 4:30 p.m. on 14 November 2019

Warnings:
Gale force winds in Nan'ao. Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, Shanwei, south of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao.

Weather Situation:
The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 15.5 degrees north, 126.7 degrees east. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards Luzon.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
North to northeast force 5 to 6, becoming east force 5 to 6 later.
Moderate to rough seas.

Nan'ao:
Northeast force 6 to 7, occasionally force 8, becoming east force 5 to 6 later.

Shanwei:
Northeast force 6 to 7, becoming east force 5 to 6 later.

South of Hong Kong:
