Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A dry northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China. Locally, the relative humidity over most parts of the territory fell to around 60 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi was centred about 550 kilometres east-northeast of Manila. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Fine. The minimum temperature will be about 22 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day tomorrow with a maximum temperature of around 26 degrees. Moderate easterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore at first.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the following couple of days. Appreciably cooler with winds strengthening from the north next Monday night.

    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 16.9 degrees north, 125.5 degrees east. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.
