Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China.

At noon, Tropical Depression Kalmaegi was centred about 580 kilometres east-northeast of Manila. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly fine. Dry in the afternoon. Moderate easterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the next couple of days. Appreciably cooler with winds strengthening from the north next Monday night.

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At noon, Tropical Depression Kalmaegi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 16.3 degrees north, 126.1 degrees east. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.

    East force 4 to 5.
    Moderate seas.

    Nan'ao and Shanwei:
    East to northeast force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
    Moderate to rough seas.

    South of Hong Kong:
