Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing generally fine weather to southern China.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi was centred about 580 kilometres east-northeast of Manila. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 22 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 27 degrees. Moderate easterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine on Monday with winds strengthening from the north at night. Appreciably cooler in the following couple of days.

    Weather information for south China coastal waters issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 4:30 p.m. on 16 November 2019

    Weather Situation:
    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Kalmaegi with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 16.2 degrees north, 126.1 degrees east. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of Luzon.

    East force 4.
    Moderate seas.

    Nan'ao, Shanwei and South of Hong Kong:
    East to northeast force 4 to 5.
    Moderate seas.
