Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong northeast monsoon affected the south China coastal areas yesterday. Locally, it was mainly cloudy at first, and became fine during the day. Besides, pressure over southern China began to rise in the afternoon yesterday. A replenishment of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coastal areas this morning. The weather will be cool and dry over the region today and tomorrow.

At 11 p.m. last night, Severe Tropical Storm Kammuri was centred about 320 kilometres northeast of Yap. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 28 Nov 2019)

Mainly cloudy. It will be cooler in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 18 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore at first.

Outlook : Cool on Friday morning. Mainly fine over the weekend.
