     TYPHOON VAMCO HAS INTENSIFIED INTO A SEVERE
     TYPHOON.  AT 11 P.M. LAST NIGHT, VAMCO WAS
     LOCATED AT 15.0 DEGREES NORTH, 122.1 DEGREES
     EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST OR
     WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 12 KNOTS ACROSS THE
     PHILIPPINES.
