     THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE SOUTH
     CHINA COASTAL AREAS.
     AT NOON, TYPHOON VAMCO WAS LOCATED AT 15.5
     DEGREES NORTH, 114.9 DEGREES EAST. IT IS
     FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT ABOUT 10 KNOTS ACROSS
     THE CENTRAL PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
