     AREAS OF GUANGDONG.
     AT 4 P.M., SEVERE TYPHOON SURIGAE WAS CENTERED
     NEAR 18.4 DEGREES NORTH, 124.8 DEGREES EAST. IT
     IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHWEST SLOWLY AT
     FIRST, ACROSS THE SEAS EAST OF THE PHILIPPINES
     AND THEN TURN NORTHEASTWARDS LATER.
