II.  SYNOPSIS OF THE WEATHER SITUATION :
     A SOUTHERLY AIRSTREAM IS AFFECTING THE SOUTH
     CHINA COASTAL AREAS. BESIDES, THE TROUGH OF LOW
     PRESSURE OVER CENTRAL CHINA IS EXPECTED TO EDGE
     CLOSER TO THE COASTAL AREAS OF SOUTHERN CHINA
     TOMORROW.
     AT 4 P.M., TROPICAL STORM CHOI-WAN WAS LOCATED
     NEAR 17.7 DEGREES NORTH, 118.1 DEGREES EAST. IT
     IS FORECAST TO MOVE  NORTH OR NORTH-NORTHEAST AT
     ABOUT 10 KNOTS TOWARDS THE VICINITY OF THE LUZON
     STRAIT AND THE SOUTHERN PART OF TAIWAN.
