Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon continued to affect the south China coastal areas yesterday. Locally, it was cloudy at first and became mainly fine gradually in the afternoon. The weather was cold and dry. Temperatures over the territory generally fell to seven or eight degrees in the morning. The winter monsoon is expected to persist in the next couple of days. It will be cold, mainly fine and dry over southern China.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly fine and cold. The minimum temperature in the morning will be about 8 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. Very dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 13 degrees. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Dry on Wednesday and Thursday with cold mornings. Daytime temperatures rising in the latter part of this week.
