Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon is affecting southern China.

At 8 p.m., Tropical Depression Sanba was centred about 1680 kilometres east-southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour towards the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Cloudy periods overnight. Mainly fine and dry tomorrow. Cold in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 12 degrees. The maximum temperature will be around 18 degrees during the day. Moderate north to northeasterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Temperatures will rise progressively midweek this week. The weather will become humid and foggy and persist to the Lunar New Year.
