Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon is affecting southern China.

At 5 a.m., Tropical Storm Sanba was centred about 940 kilometres southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour towards the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for today

It will be fine. Dry with a maximum temperature of around 18 degrees during the day. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Temperatures rising progressively in the next couple of days. The weather will be mild and humid with fog over the Lunar New Year holidays.
